Fire Alarm - System testing and condo unit inspections are coming soon...
This year's testing and inspection date will be Tuesday, August 15.

For those of you that are new to this, there will be loud noise. If you have a dog, or have a hard time tolerating it, or both, then I suggest you leave the premises; we will begin between 9:00 and 10:00 AM, and probably finish by 3:00 PM.
Compliance is mandatory. We will enter every condo to inspect the sprinkler heads and verify the alarm horn is sounding.
This annual testing is the most important of the many reasons I have a safe full of keys in my office. If your key is not in my collection, expect a separate email shortly asking you to provide a copy.

Condo Insurance Requirement

Did you know that all Unit Owners at Harbor Square are required to carry condo owner's insurance?
Section 12.2 of the Declaration (which is, legally, part of the deed) requires that every Owner carry this customary type of insurance. Terminology varies with insurer but homeowner (HO) policies are generally referred to by number. A condominium Owner policy is HO-6. There are all kinds of bells and whistles that can be added to a policy to cover you for any special risks or high value property that you have. The basic policies are usually inexpensive compared to policies for single family homes.
